Hi Reader, This panel potato chip quilt is looking fabulous and I'm so close to being finished. Have you ever had a quilt just about finished only to find a mistake that HAD to be fixed? I have a couple from a few years ago that are still sitting on the shelf waiting for me to get the mistakes corrected. But for this faux-pas (a really big mistake!) I was determined to make the block usable! This video is a step-by-step tutorial for fixing a common mistake we all probably encounter at some point. But imagine my surprise to find that fixing one mistake brought a second problem to my attention. Luckily these issues were fixable and now I have a finished block waiting to be sewn into my quilt. It was much easier to fix than to start over! So next time you find a 'problem' think about how you can do a work around. Let me know what kind of mistakes you've had to figure out. Hi Reader, My Potato Chip Panel Quilt is finally finished and I think you'll love it! This video brings all the steps together. You'll see how the panels are assembled around the large center floral wreath. There were a few tricks needed to get it all to fit evenly. These 'modifications' only improved the final layout resulting in a wonderful finished quilt top! There is one last step before I can get this one quilted.
