Hi Reader, YAY π₯³ MY WEBSITE IS BACK AND WORKING! Thank you so much for understanding and being so supportive while my website was down these last few weeks. Due to some idiot hacker, my site was totally inoperable! With lots of help, everything is now operating as it should. There are some new articles I still need to add and will let you know when they are posted. To keep my internet-frustration to a minimum, of course I just kept quilting! Here are some new videos you may not have seen yet. I'm working on these posts as well. Don't Let Your Charm Packs Sit Unused! Make This Gorgeous Quilt Today! Today's quilt is a scrappy disappearing 9-patch. They have been popular for years, yet we can always find a new twist. This is actually a very simple variation of the original pattern but getting the colors in the right place makes an incredible difference. Don't miss my Confetti: A Disappearing 9-Patch Quilt Pattern which is available at 40% off only to subscribers via my emails! Originally, this quilt was demonstrated in the Only ONE Block Disappearing 9-Patch Quilt Tutorial. It has the step-by-step instructions how to make the blocks and general quilt layout. Today's video above is the completion of the final quilt top. How to Use Fat Quarters EfficientlyStop Wasting Money on NEW Fabrics! Repurposing Ideas You'll LOVEβ€π§΅β This video below resulted from many comments asking how to use fat quarters. While there are quilt tops made with nearly whole fat quarters sewn together, I prefer to cut mine into smaller pieces. EXECPT when it comes to making a quilt backing, its a perfect solution for Color Blocking! There is also another cost savings for a backing, simply use a second quilt. You'll see this in the same post with the color block backing. You'll see just how easy it is to cut your fat quarters into usable precut sizes. This way you have plenty of cut fabric to start quilting when you're ready. Instead of pulling out a fat quarter bundle and cutting it to size before you can even begin your next quilt! I've been doing this for years and it's such a time saver for me! NEW ScheduleMy video and website postings have been very erratic this year. I realize that makes it difficult to follow what I'm working on. The most realistic schedule for me is to consistently post midday on Fridays. That will ASSURE my weekend breaks and give me a full week to accomplish whatever I'm working on. Today is my first Friday video release which should be workable for me to keep up with. Don't be surprised if you don't hear from me the first week of the month. That will be my catch up and planning time. If there's anything new released, you'll definitely hear from me. The short videos I've been releasing on the weekends will likely continue. These little snippets are excerpts from my longer videos and have been well received. They are usually quick for me to create and are fun to work on. I hope you've had the chance to to check them out. If not, you can click the link above and take a peek. It's Friday and our grandkids will be here for the night. We love our time together watching a fun movie and doing some cooking together. But first, I'll be joining a friend on a plant shopping spree this morning to find a few more plants for our gardens. There's always room for a couple more! πΊπΌπ» That also means some garden time for me which will be awesome! Have a great weekend and find a bit of time for yourself to enjoy some special time doing what you love. Don't Miss THIS MONTH'S Fat Quarter Shop Specials!

Hi Reader, With JUST ONE Fat Quarter You can create this beautiful Potato Chip Quilt! It may be small but so very and pretty and practical. Plus it's a great way to get back into these 'addictive' quilts. I know I can never make just one! π My initial thought for this tutorial was to use an ugly fabric I avoid using. But then I found this piece and had to use it! I have a couple other variations that I'm excited to try, so be sure and watch for those. βSubscriber 40% OFF Super-Sized Placemat...
Hi Reader, Wow, it's been a month and it's only the 14th! My website has been a blank white screen for two weeks. More commonly referred to the 'white screen of death'! It was hacked and getting it back in operation has taken some time. But now it's back online...EXCEPT that I can't add any new posts. There are a number of posts for new quilts I've been working on and hopefully I can get them online soon. In the meantime, here's today's video. It's a demonstration/tutorial for the orange peel...
