🌺 So Easy You Don't Need a Pattern!

Hi Reader,

Our weather has been gorgeous and the spring flowers look beautiful. The perennial bed is enjoying the rain showers and starting to show some buds. It won't be long before there's lots of color. This is my favorite time of year.

When I'm not in the garden, I'm playing with lots of beautiful fabrics. This week's quilt turned out so pretty. What started as mostly blue quickly became turquoise and looks awesome. It's predominantly batiks and I love how it looks. The best part - it's super easy!!

This has to be the FASTEST method to create an adorable scrappy baby quilt in just minutes! You’ll be amazed how quickly you can turn 100 charm squares into an awesome quilt faster than you ever thought possible! Not enough charm squares on hand? Check out these 100 count charm packs in assorted solids & prints.

Be sure you also check out the post, How to Make the Fastest Baby Quilt. The complete tutorial is included showing the step-by-step assembly. There's also another variation you might enjoy in a completely different colorway. Take a look at How to Choose the Right Quilt Backing Fabric for what I would consider a southwest color scheme...in a bright sort of way. This one I actually used a layer cake and crosscut it into 5-inch charms and used the same layout. It turned out great!

Patterns and fabrics are ready for next week's quilt but there may be a delay. The grandkids are here for a couple weeks and we've been so busy already. They are 10 & 12 and we're having lots of fun. We're also planning some exciting local excursions and day trips. Hopefully I'll get some quilting in along the way. 😊

In the meantime, enjoy your quilting. I hope this fun quilt idea gets you inspired to quilt! Thanks so much for following along. 🌺🌻🌼 Have a great rest of your week!

Happy Quilting,

Lea Louise

Particularly the dimension to cut squares for the right size triangle, plus multiple assembly inquiries. I enjoy this feed back as it gives me the opportunity to share the info you need. In case you missed it, last week's video is...

Here's how I'm deciding which blocks to choose. First, it must be a block I can easily make scrappy. This way I can use fabric I already have which saves me money. I prefer to buy my...
