Hi Reader, No sooner do I get close to finishing a quilt than another idea grabs my attention. As you know, there are four twin size charm square quilts I'm working on using different Disappearing-9-Patch Layouts. This week's is number three and I'm already working on the fourth. Don't miss my Confetti: A Disappearing 9-Patch Quilt Pattern which is available at 40% off only to subscribers via my emails! Oh, Happy Spring! π»ππΌ I've gathered my floral fabrics for some upcoming spring quilts. Plus I have some other great choices to work with to make a few more quilts I've been thinking about. Particularly a baby quilt for a new member of our family. You can see the fabric I've chosen towards the end of the video above. Or you can check out the Cottage Grove Layer Cake Fabrics at the Fat Quarter Shop. If you're like me, spring also means time in my gardens. I love growing flowers to brighten up our yard, plus herbs and greens for eating. Being outside this time of year feels wonderful after a few cold months. My perennials are popping up and getting me excited to do some more digging. Between our newest bird-sanctuary garden and all the song birds we have visiting, I've been busy online learning all I can. My husband has discovered that Black Oil Sunflower Seeds are a favorite which certainly seems to be true. So yes, I now have 100 seeds to grow some of these large flowers ourselves. If you like to garden inside or out, here are a couple links you might enjoy to find just what you're looking for. Leaves and Soul offers interesting products that are specific to various plants. I'm trying the Herbs & Greens liquid fertilizer. I love adding fresh herbs when I'm cooking and am anxious to see how this work.π₯π₯π₯ I also want to add a small lettuce garden but being in GA that'll only work in spring and fall. My best producers are basil and parsley which grow like crazy! So that'll be for the edibles and maybe a bit of cilantro, too. It's too hard to compete against all the critters that want to each my veggies. So flowers and greens it is. πΊππΈπΏπ± Thanks so much for following along. Have a great rest of your week! Don't Miss THIS MONTH'S Fat Quarter Shop Specials!FYI: I've gotten layer cakes at under $22 in the Weekly Precut Bundle Sales!

Hi Reader, With JUST ONE Fat Quarter You can create this beautiful Potato Chip Quilt! It may be small but so very and pretty and practical. Plus it's a great way to get back into these 'addictive' quilts. I know I can never make just one! π My initial thought for this tutorial was to use an ugly fabric I avoid using. But then I found this piece and had to use it! I have a couple other variations that I'm excited to try, so be sure and watch for those. βSubscriber 40% OFF Super-Sized Placemat...
Hi Reader, YAY π₯³ MY WEBSITE IS BACK AND WORKING! Thank you so much for understanding and being so supportive while my website was down these last few weeks. Due to some idiot hacker, my site was totally inoperable! With lots of help, everything is now operating as it should. There are some new articles I still need to add and will let you know when they are posted. To keep my internet-frustration to a minimum, of course I just kept quilting! Here are some new videos you may not have seen yet....
Hi Reader, Wow, it's been a month and it's only the 14th! My website has been a blank white screen for two weeks. More commonly referred to the 'white screen of death'! It was hacked and getting it back in operation has taken some time. But now it's back online...EXCEPT that I can't add any new posts. There are a number of posts for new quilts I've been working on and hopefully I can get them online soon. In the meantime, here's today's video. It's a demonstration/tutorial for the orange peel...
